DIRECT OR OPEN ACCESS ENDOSCOPY
Some patients requiring routine endoscopic examination may directly access endoscopy procedures without a prior office visit (e.g. colon cancer screening, follow-up of colon polyps, Barrett's esophagus surveillance, etc.). Please call to inquire if your condition is suitable for Direct Access Endoscopy. Dr. Preiksaitis may still recommend that your procedure be done at the hospital if he feels that is best for you or specialized equipment is needed. Dr. Preiksaitis is available to do upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy at the Valley Hospital Outpatient Facility.
